How to get there

Sonamarg is situated at a distance of 84 kms from Srinagar, on the Srinagar-Ladakh Road. We operates regular buses as well as sightseeing buses during the season. The route passes through the picturesque town of Ganderbal (21 kms), Kangan (40 kms) and Gund of the Sindh Valley, before reaching the resort. Spectacular views of the Harmukh range dominate the horizon all along the route.

As popularly known the meadow of gold Sonmarg is really Gold we had or family tour booked through Kashmir Glory Travels they provided best tour plan including all the favourite tourist destinations of kashmir, the accomodation at all places was great, food as excellent particularly the kashmiri Wazwan the driver of the cab was very polite and helpful we enjoyed a lot would like visit soon again, if there is heaven on earth its in Kashmir and that is true.
